Man, it never ends.  Okay, fixed some more typos and I realized page 6's

17 pages are ready to go but I have a prior engagement so,

it's gonna be a bit of a long break for me but will push on through later tonight

to have this released.  By the looks of it, it'll be very late in the night.

Hey guys, sorry for the slow progress on this one.

The translation is now finalized.

I finished adjusting the scans and K-Slice is typesetting right at this very moment however

the chapter won't be out until probably by Sunday evening.

Finessing this time around doesn't seem it'll be time consuming.

Got the order in.

Just scanned the whole chapter and I'm adjusting the scans right now.

Sands still needs to review a few more pages but everything is coming along.

I have "Your Lie in April" running in the background.  Never seen it before but it's very engrossing.

I finished the translation rough draft.  I'm sending it to K-Slice so we can both go over it

before I send it off to Sands.

Even after the translation is finalized, I'll probably won't get the order in soon.

So I will either release the translation (in a .DOCX) or do a quick LQ release with cino's raws.

(I'm sure he wouldn't mind.)

Had a late start today.

Just to let ya know, Shuujirou DOES know where Haruka is.

He knows that The Isumis went to the country side to take care of their great-grandparents and

that Haruka was going to go help out with that.

As you might have noticed,
 At the top of page 17, Shuujirou did sign and stamp his seal on the divorce papers but
scratched out his name and also... everyone's been romanizing the last name 伊澄 wrong!
The furigana is いすみ (Isumi) and not いずみ (Izumi) but
Microsoft IME automatically changes my "Izumi" input to 伊澄.

The Weblio dictionary I love using has it down as both however Konomi has it down as "Isumi".
So I guess the ENG release of chapter 25 will have this correction.

Definitely it'll help us get a jump start on the ENG release while the order is still on the other side of the world.

I'm currently transcribing and doing the translation rough draft for the chapter.

There's a lot of dialogue here so it'll take some time but we'll get it done.

Some extra information:
Shuujirou and Haruka started living together from February 2010 to January 2013.
On the divorce form under:

"Notifying Parties" and  "Sign and Seal"
Only Haruka signed and stamped her last name seal in the wife's section.
The husband's section is blank.

As of now, the first 6 pages, 30%, are done.
If you count the preview then it's 7 pages; 35%.
I'd continue on but I have an errand to do at day break so I need to call it a night.

I'm sure some of y'all are trying to translate it on your own to make sense of this chapter.
For those interested, here's the first 6 pages fully translated.
Please note this is still a work-in-progress translation rough draft and is subject to change.
I'm sure there's typos, mispellings, and wrong kana transcribed in it.
Anything in brackets are my additions to the translation to make it sound natural and
to make it make sense as in Japanese "obvious" things are left unsaid/unmentioned; for example pronouns.

Either he's getting fired or moved around (promoted?) at work.
Shuujirou could have possibly quit to find Haruka.

Okay, so we got around in placing our order and Namaki! May 2016 issue has been ordered.

We have a book that might take an extra day or two to be gathered so everyone is gonna have to sit tight.

As for Ayamachi... it has been shown to me that I'm having trouble taking on extra projects due to it being quite busy on my end.

Especially with getting things ready for my trip (potential business trip).  I'll try to allot some time for Chapter 2 but after that.

It'll be in hiatus until things normal out on my end; that I'm sorry guys.

Alright guys,

Between K-Slice and myself, it's taking quite a bit of time to typeset this chapter.

As of now, 20 of 24 pages are completely typeset however only 7 pages are completely ready.

It's the finessing that's really time comsuming because there's a lot of text that needs to be formatted.

At least by tonight all pages will be typeset but the remaining 17 pages will need to be finessed.

As it's getting later in the night, it really seems this won't be out until around high-noon Sunday (03/13/20216).

So at the crack of dawn tomorrow, I'll hop on it with K-Slice and we'll try hard to get it out then.

(Don't freak out, the zoom/scaling is not set up in my PS.)

***03/11/2016 UPDATE***

Okay guys,
The translation will be finalized tonight or very early Saturday morning.
I had to pick-up an extra shift so I will be working a Saturday morning shift from 6 a.m. to 11:30 a.m..
I want to have this out for you guys by Saturday afternoon.
With that in mind I want to swing by K-Slice's Saturday so we both can typeset this (12 pages split between us)
and proof it together so we can have this out as early as we can.  However I've been experiencing heavy rain in my
part of the world.  So if Saturday is another heavy downpour, I would want to avoid the terrible drivers who'd be driving in the rain.
I also want to avoid flood waters; my itasha is lowered and wouldn't stand a chance in high water.
At the latest, it would be late Saturday evening but I think definitely Saturday unless something comes up.

Ja ne.

All 24 16 pages are fully translated (including SFXs and ideophones).
Gonna meet up with K-Slice and we'll eventually go through the translation rough draft together
before it's sent off to Sands to go over.

No lie, y'all are probably gonna laugh at how Shuujirou's father, Mr. Tachibana, gives him advise about fucking...  Oh dear lord...

Trying to finish up before this evening go do some errands.
As soon as I'm done I'll send it to Sands to look over while I prep the scans.

Scanned the chapter but haven't done any adjustments to the raws outside these examples.

I transcribed all the JPN text and translated some pages on the fly.

Tomorrow at the crack of dawn I'll continue to finish up the translation rough draft.

I'll also head up to the post office to pick up the order.

I want to start scanning Saturday night when possible.

I dunno about where this story will go but let's hope for a murder suicide yandare style.

K-Slices feels that his father is gonna jump in on the action.

Someone should do another poll about what they think the outcome will be.

This preview didn't pop up until after the order but here's a little rough transition:

Also, I'm introducing the PERIOD (.) in the releases to come.
Reason being I left them out was that... well... I didn't know they were actually used in comics.
I don't read western comics and I do read manga but mostly online.
I guess I picked up a bad habit of not using a period from other scanlators out there however
I've recently discovered that they are in fact used and I should use them too.
This actually helps when dealing with Japanese to English grammar since the two aren't the same.

Hello guys!

Many pardons that I haven't updated the blog concerning chapter 23.

There was a hold-up with the whole order.  K-Slice's "Nana and Kaoru" vol. 3 was back-ordered.

All these here are his except the one all the way on the right (and of course Namaiki) .

"Hey, Just a Little Bit More" is mine; I love Shuusuke Shunjou.

(Yes that's chapter 23 scanned in in the background.)

Impressed by the good results I was getting with K-Slices' (very) old all-in-one, I went Canon as well (previously an Epson user).  I went with a MG7520 off Amazon.  Good features, prints great however the scanning is extremely slow.  I have no idea why, K-Slice's old Canon is pretty fast with the same settings.  I tried wireless and wired, made no real difference nor can I find posts about others complaining about the same let down.  However I do believe this scans better so I guess that's the trade off.  Took me over 90mins to scan this single chapter in (did have to rescan pages because of debris) as oppose to under 30/40 with K-Slice's.  I must say, this really captures the imperfections in the paper.

Really happy it uses the same scanning program as K-Slice's.  Having these options REALLY help.

Here's the only sample I'll post.  This is the second page.  I only white balanced and cropped this page.  As you can see, there's a bit of imperfections in the paper.  Those four "dots" are the holes from the staples.  Really impressed the blacks stayed black for this scan; less adjustments to do.  In the days to come I'll do my normal routine to get this out to y'all.  Please be patient.  No ETA as of now.  (Still working on Ayamachi chapter 2 but that'll have to be left on the back burner.  Sorry guys about the slowness of that one.)

AYAMACHI, HAJIMEMASHITE CH 2 CONFESSIONS *UPDATE*

Greetings and Salutations guys.

Here’s a little update on the joint Ayamachi, Hajimemashite English translation venture between Seinen Scanlation Project and Rabbit Scanlations.

The translation rough draft and script is complete.  I will try to get this typeset as soon as I can.
As an omake, Icebarrier18 will contribute colorized pages done by himself in this and our releases to come.  They will be placed at the back for anyone who wants them.  This way, those who want to enjoy a regular release and something different can have that option.

I also reached out to Shakuganexa from Shakuganexa's Translations to check on his 4K scan project for Ayamachi and asked him if we can get the hook-up on that.  He informed me that project won't be underway until around the end of January.  Not to delay the ENG release of this, we here will move forward with the raws we have available.

As mentioned before, the Holiday season will be busy for everyone so we hope you can understand any delays.
 (Honestly, a lot stuff going on but I won't bore y'all with the details.)

Also, as for Netorasrare Chapter 23 The Revolving Door (just a joke) I will place an order for the February 2016 Issue of Namaiki in the next 24hrs.  I also scored a new scanner so that'll help out.  Though I've seen rumors that Namaiki will go digital, not sure what'll that'll mean for the physical release.  If I can order the digital version myself, that'll be sweet because that'll cut down the time it takes to pump out the ENG version significantly.

Oh, and for the one poster in the threads who was wondering what I eat:
The other day for lunch I had Thai Red Curry Chicken with Bamboo Shoots served on top of steam white rice with those egg rolls (‘cause that’s how I roll).  Though I’m not a fan of coconuts, yet alone the milk from them, the coconut milk used for the curry base wasn’t bad at all.
